Hotspot & Vouchers

Packages, the voucher pool, the captive portal customers actually see, and fair-usage limits.

Packages

A package defines what a customer is buying: a data allowance, a time allowance, or both, at a set price. Create as many packages as you want.

The voucher pool

Vouchers are kept in a pre-generated pool per package and topped up automatically as they're sold, so you're never waiting on generation at the point of sale. Each voucher is a single-use code tied to its package's data/time allowance and expiry.

The captive portal

When a customer connects to your Wi-Fi, they're shown your own branded captive portal: your logo, your colors, served over your own subdomain with a properly trusted certificate, not a browser warning. From there they can enter a voucher code they already have, or go straight to the mobile-first Buy Plan page to pay and connect in one flow.

Devices on the hotspot are isolated from each other by default (client isolation), and management traffic runs on a separate hidden network. A customer's device never sees another customer's device, or your router's admin interface.

Agent cash sales

Wallet-based agents can sell vouchers in person, which is useful for walk-in customers or areas with unreliable mobile money. Commission is calculated and credited to the agent automatically on each sale, with no separate point-of-sale hardware or manual bookkeeping.

Fair-usage limits

When a customer hits their package's cap, ICCKNet throttles their connection instead of cutting it off outright, and they get a usage alert before they run out. This is handled without disconnecting and re-authenticating the session.

Promotions

You can blast a promotion to your customer base by SMS, or feature it directly on your Buy Plan page. Both are built into the admin panel.
