Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-13.1, effective 13 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between ICCKNet ("we", "us", "our") and the organization that registers to use the ICCKNet platform ("you", "your organization"). ICCKNet is software for Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Wi-Fi hotspot operators and other network access providers. Please read these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By registering an organization, ticking the box to accept these Terms, or using ICCKNet, you confirm that:
- You have read and agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy
- You are authorised to accept them on behalf of your organization
- You will comply with all laws that apply to your business
If you do not agree, do not register or use ICCKNet.
1.1 Who These Terms Cover
| Person | Position under these Terms |
|---|---|
| Your organization | Our customer, and bound by these Terms |
| Your admins and staff | Use ICCKNet on your behalf. You are responsible for what they do in your account |
| Your agents | Sell for you through the agent portal. You choose them and are responsible for them |
| Your customers (end users) | Buy internet access from you, not from us. Your own terms apply to them |
| Installers | Independent technicians in our Installer Program. Section 9 applies to them |
2. The Service
ICCKNet gives each organization its own subdomain, admin panel and database. Features include:
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Hotspot vouchers | Time, data or combined packages, voucher generation, printable voucher sheets, and a Buy page and Wi-Fi login page in your brand |
| PPPoE billing | Monthly home and office subscribers, invoices, autopay, and automatic suspension and restoration |
| Router management | Setup and monitoring of supported MikroTik and Ruijie routers over a private tunnel or Ruijie Cloud, a network map, alerts and remote access to the router's own admin page |
| Payments | Mobile money and card payments from your customers through ICCKPay (Section 6) |
| Agents | Agent wallets, voucher sales and commission tracking |
| Customer communication | SMS, email, WhatsApp (where enabled) and web push notifications, promotions and live chat |
| Reports and AI | Revenue and usage reports, forecasts, fraud signals and an AI assistant (Section 11) |
| Outage compensation | Optional automatic extension of your customers' time after a site outage |
| Plugins and integrations | Optional plugins and outbound webhooks to services you choose (Section 12) |
We keep improving ICCKNet. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature you rely on in a way that materially reduces the service, we will tell you in advance where practical.
3. Your Account
3.1 Who Can Register
| Requirement | Description |
|---|---|
| Age | You must be at least 18 years old |
| Business | You must operate a lawful business or have authority to act for one |
| Accurate details | The organization name, email and phone number you give must be true and kept up to date. We verify the email and phone number before your organization is created |
3.2 Keeping Your Account Secure
You are responsible for:
- Keeping passwords and router logins confidential, and giving admin access only to people who need it
- Turning on two-factor authentication for admin accounts (strongly recommended)
- Everything done using your account, by your staff, your agents or anyone using their logins
- Telling us at once at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access
4. Your Routers and Network
| Topic | What applies |
|---|---|
| Access you give us | When you add a router, you allow ICCKNet to connect to it (over a private WireGuard tunnel, the router's API or Ruijie Cloud) and to read and change its configuration so the service can work: hotspot, RADIUS, firewall, port roles, bandwidth limits, disconnecting customers and similar settings |
| Credentials | Router logins, Ruijie Cloud App IDs and secrets you give us are stored encrypted and used only to run the service for you |
| Changes you make through ICCKNet | Actions you take in the admin panel take effect on your equipment immediately. Some actions affect more than one device: for example, setting a new Ruijie router password changes the login for every device in that Ruijie Cloud project |
| Your equipment and internet | You own and are responsible for your routers, access points, power and upstream internet connection, and for keeping your own configuration backups |
| Removing a router | When you delete a router or close your account, we stop managing it. Settings ICCKNet added may remain on the device until you reset or change them |
5. Licences and Legal Compliance
You are solely responsible for running your business lawfully, including:
- Holding any licence or authorisation the National Communications Authority (NCA) or any other regulator requires for the internet or Wi-Fi service you provide
- Registering with the Data Protection Commission where required, and handling your customers' personal data lawfully (Section 10)
- Your own taxes, business registration, consumer protection duties and the terms you give your customers
- Any lawful request from authorities about your customers or network
ICCKNet is a software tool. It does not make you compliant on its own, and we do not give legal advice.
6. Customer Payments Through ICCKPay
| Term | Details |
|---|---|
| How payments work | Your customers pay by MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money or card. Payments are processed by ICCKPay, our payment platform, together with the licensed payment providers it works with (such as Paystack, Hubtel and SeevPlus) |
| Your ICCKPay account | You may need to give ICCKPay business and payout details and complete identity checks before payouts can be made to you |
| Settlement | You receive the package price your customer paid, settled to your payout destination according to ICCKPay's settlement schedule and the payment providers' processing times |
| Transaction fee | Your customers are charged a transaction fee on top of the price they pay |
| Card and wallet details | Card numbers and mobile money PINs are handled by the payment providers and are not stored on our servers |
| Refunds and disputes | Refunds to your customers are your decision and your responsibility. Reversed, refunded or disputed payments may be deducted from amounts due to you |
| Holds | We or ICCKPay may delay or hold a payout if we reasonably suspect fraud, a payment error, or a breach of these Terms, or if a payment provider or the law requires it |
7. Fees for Using ICCKNet
7.1 Subscription
| Plan | Price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| Early access | Free for now | No subscription is charged during early access |
ICCKNet is currently free during early access. We plan to introduce paid plans. Before any subscription fee starts to apply to your organization, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and in your dashboard, with the price and how to pay. You can close your account before then if you do not wish to continue.
7.2 Paying and Late Payment
| Term | Details |
|---|---|
| How to pay | By mobile money or card through ICCKPay, using the payment link in your dashboard or email |
| Grace period | 7 days after a payment is due |
| Suspension | If payment is still outstanding after the grace period, admin access may be suspended until it is paid. We will warn you before this happens |
| Termination | An account left unpaid for an extended period may be closed under Section 14 |
| Refunds | Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires |
| Taxes | Prices may be subject to applicable taxes |
7.3 SMS Credits
| Term | Details |
|---|---|
| Free allowance | Each organization receives a starting allowance of free SMS units |
| Buying credits | After the free allowance, SMS sending requires credits, priced per unit as shown on your SMS Credits page at the time of purchase |
| Refunds and transfers | Credits are not refundable (except where the law requires) and cannot be moved to another organization |
| Delivery | Messages are sent through third-party SMS gateways. We do not guarantee delivery, which depends on networks and carriers |
| Lawful messaging | You must only send promotions to customers who may lawfully receive them, and must honour opt-out requests |
8. Agents
- Agents are appointed, managed and paid by you. They are not our employees or agents
- Agent wallet top-ups, voucher sales and commissions are recorded in ICCKNet, but agreements with your agents are between you and them
- You are responsible for disputes with your agents and for any fraud or misuse by them
9. Installer Program
| Term | Details |
|---|---|
| Approval | Installers apply and are approved at our discretion. We may remove an installer from the directory at any time |
| Independent | Installers are independent technicians, not our employees. Work agreed between an installer and an organization is between them |
| Points | Points are credited when a referred organization's router finishes setup. Points have no cash value until a payout request is reviewed and approved |
| Fraud | Points earned through false sign-ups, duplicate accounts or other abuse may be cancelled |
10. Data Protection and Privacy
10.1 Roles
| Data | Who is responsible |
|---|---|
| Your customers' and agents' data | You are the data controller. We process it only on your behalf and on your instructions, to provide ICCKNet |
| Your organization's account data | We are the data controller, as described in our Privacy Policy |
You must have a lawful basis to collect your customers' data and must handle their requests (access, correction, deletion) in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and other applicable law. We provide tools to help.
10.2 Isolation and Security
- Each organization has its own database. Your data is not shared with other organizations
- We use reasonable technical and organisational security measures, including encryption of stored credentials and access controls
- If we become aware of a security breach affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay
- No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security
10.3 Service Providers
We use carefully chosen service providers (listed in Section 17) to run ICCKNet. They receive only the data they need to provide their service.
11. AI Features
- AI features, such as the assistant, forecasts and fraud signals, can be inaccurate or incomplete. Check important results before acting on them
- To answer you, the relevant information may be sent to third-party AI model providers
- Do not rely on AI output as legal, financial or professional advice
12. Plugins, Webhooks and Integrations
When you turn on a plugin or send data to a webhook or other service, you instruct us to send the selected data there. You are responsible for choosing trustworthy destinations and for those services' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services you connect.
13. Acceptable Use
You must not, and must not allow anyone using your account to:
| Prohibited | Examples |

14. Suspension, Cancellation and Termination
14.1 Cancellation by You

14.2 Suspension or Termination by Us

- Breach these Terms, including non-payment

We may also stop offering ICCKNet altogether, giving you at least 60 days' notice to export your data.
14.3 Your Data After Your Account Closes
| Data | Handling |
|---|---|
| Your customer data | Available for export during the grace period before deletion |

| Everything else | Deleted or anonymised in line with our Privacy Policy |
15. Intellectual Property
| Property | Owner |

| Your data, your organization's name, logo and content | You |
We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use ICCKNet for your business while your account is active. You give us permission to host, process and display your data and branding only as needed to provide ICCKNet to you. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.
16. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
16.1 Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that ICCKNet will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and will try to give notice of planned work. We do not pay compensation for downtime. The outage compensation feature gives your customers extra time on your service; it is not compensation from us to you.
16.2 No Warranty
ICCKNet is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
16.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Price changes take effect only after the notice period given in Section 7. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.
19. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from claims by third parties (including your customers, agents and regulators) that arise from your business, your data, your network, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
