Routers & Network

How a router goes from a bare MikroTik device to a fully managed, monitored part of your network.

Supported hardware

ICCKNet manages MikroTik RouterOS devices directly. Any RouterOS board (wired, wireless, or a fiber/GPON setup) can be added as a router under your organization. A router that is already in use doesn't need a factory reset: conflicting old settings are cleared during setup.

Ruijie Reyee gateways are supported too. Connect your Ruijie Cloud account under Settings, then add the gateway; ICCKNet creates its guest Wi-Fi, points its captive portal at your login page and links it to RADIUS through Ruijie Cloud automatically.

Adding a router

From Routers → Add Router in your admin panel, ICCKNet generates a single provisioning command for that specific router. Paste it into the router's terminal (or run it via Winbox/SSH) and it fetches and imports its full configuration in one step. There's no manual checklist of settings to get right by hand.

That one command sets up:

  • A dedicated WireGuard tunnel back to ICCKNet, so the router can be managed remotely even behind CGNAT or a mobile uplink
  • The hotspot service and captive portal, walled garden, and firewall rules
  • A hidden secondary network for management traffic, kept off the guest Wi-Fi
  • Bridges and ports matched to your chosen port plan

Staying connected in the field

Rural 4G uplinks and rolling power cuts are treated as the normal case, not an edge case. A short WireGuard keepalive interval plus an on-router watchdog notice a dropped tunnel and recover it automatically, without a site visit. Clocks stay NTP-synced and checkins retry through flaky links, so a router that briefly drops off comes back cleanly on its own.

Monitoring your network

Each router reports bandwidth, connected sessions, latency, and packet loss with live trend graphs, plus a GPS map of your whole network if you've set router locations. If a router's health starts trending downward, it's flagged as an outage risk on your dashboard before it turns into a support ticket.

Fiber and GPON

For fiber rollouts, ICCKNet supports VLANs, ONUs, CGNAT pools, and IPv6 blocks, so a GPON deployment can be managed in the same admin panel as your hotspot and PPPoE customers, not a separate system.
